Finally got around to finishing the story part of Portal 2. It was, of course, amazing.

So far it looks like it is par for the course in the world of Drakengard.

Yay for Drakengard 3! Though I haven't played the 2nd game, I was of the few that actually enjoyed the first game back in the day. I also really liked NIER, especially for how it was conceived. So I kinda look forward to this, wondering when it'll take place, and hopefully, it's not gonna be a "prequel" like pretty much lot of games that take place in a pre-existing setting.

An LP of a similar game has been finished, but I didn't see it in the archive site when I checked.

Drakenguard art looks great, I can see the Yoshida style rubbing off on the artist.

Oh hell yes--Chronicles of Mystara is on Xbox Live.

With some finagling, I'll do something about this. I might even do my very own Old-School review. It is a D&D game, after all.

And I might be able to get some folks to play it with me.
He jumps like a damned dragoon, and charges into battle fighting rather insane monsters with little more than his bare hands and rather nasty spell effects conjured up solely through knowledge and the local plantlife. He unerringly knows where his goal lies, he breathes underwater and is untroubled by space travel, seems to have no limits to his actual endurance and favors killing his enemies by driving both boots square into their skull. His agility is unmatched, and his strength legendary, able to fling about a turtle shell big enough to contain a man with enough force to barrel down a near endless path of unfortunates.

--The horror of Mario

Zak S, Zak Smith, Dndwithpornstars, Zak Sabbath. He is a terrible person and a hack at writing and art. His cultural contributions are less than Justin Bieber's, and he's a shitmuffin. Go go gadget Googlebomb!

I downloaded the demo a while ago, and I liked what I played.

Although the demo for the second game literally ends after you input your name (which is after a few enemies), which is kind of ridiculous.

For comparison, the first ends after you kill one of two bosses (on different paths).

Need to see if I'm not entirely broke from going on vacation and if I'm not I'll download it and play it through at some point in the next day or so.

I burned about five bucks in quarters at the arcade once. I was...ten? something like that. it died halfway through a boss and was gone the next time I came back. I was very upset.

I can round up some players, I think, and throw down.

So, I have my new laptop, with an actual graphics card, so it's somewhat of a gaming machine. I decided to sell out and join Steam, whereupon my girlfriend gifted me Trine 2 and we played that for a bit.

Loads of fun. Now it's a matter of deciding if I want to try any Steam RPGs, get FFVII for nostalgia value*, fuck around with game creation software etc.

*and the fact that it now has Cloud Saving. I wouldn't trust such a feature, because Cloud isn't very good at saving. Just as Aeris.

Steam is pretty sweet and its existence made Microsoft's abject failure to sell their DRM scheme that much funnier.

Chronicles of Mystara get.

I think I will go through it and pick it apart and slap it up as an OSSR.

Should I do single-player or multiplayer?

Do you know if it's possible to get 2 players on one machine? Or if there's an instruction manual included with the Steam edition? I can only figure out how to change controls for player 1.

Also, if you save up points and buy the Vampirism houserule, future playthroughs turn into easymode.

It's supposed to be four-player co-op--both local and online

But I play Xbox, so I can't answer about the Steam.

I think I'd like to do it with a full party
